IESE Business School and the Barcelona Chamber of Commerce offer the DIEN and DSEN Business Spanish Diplomas. These diplomas recognize a command of Business Spanish on two levels: intermediate (DIEN) and advanced (DSEN) and measure a candidate's level to express himself in Spanish within a business and professional context. Spanish Here and Now is an official collaborating centre in this mission.

The DIEN and DSEN diplomas are related to The Council of Europe's Common European Framework of Reference for Language Learning and Training. They are designed for non-hispanic students and professionals who want to give an international characteristic to their professional career and obtain accreditation for their knowledge of Business Spanish.

The intermediate diploma, DIEN (Diploma Intermedio de Español de los Negoicos) certifies a Spanish language competence corresponding to Level B2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. The advanced diploma, DSEN (Diploma Superior de Español de los Negocios) recognises a language competence corresponding to level C2 of the aforementioned framework.

The exams for each level are made up of three different tests: grammar and vocabulary; comprehension and written expression; and oral expression. They are held at IESE Business School and at accredited exam centres, in May / June and November / December, and the cost for taking them is € 90.

We can prepare you for these exams: if you are at level B1 or B2, then a one week D4 or D5 programme will help you to ensure success in the exam for the DIEN diploma. Likewise, if you are at level C1 or C2, then a one week D4 or D5 programme will help you to ensure success in the exam for the DSEN diploma.
